Oh 2020.

You were definitely a curveball, weren't you? Everyone went into the year thinking they were going to hit home runs and then you toss us a freaking pandemic... kinda shitty of you, don't you think?

I mean it wasn't all bad.... Jo and I bought our first home together, I adopted my little step-kitty, we got to spend time in BC over the summer, we stayed safe, healthy and we renovated the entire main floor of our home! I also completed my new years resolution of journalling each day in my gratitude journal. (That's 3 years in row of completing my new years resolution and i'm quite proud of that!) Anyways, I would truly recommend keeping a gratitude journal to anyone as it really made me appreciate the little things during such a difficult time. I will definitely be continuing this resolution in 2021!

In all honesty, 2020 was really hard. I feel like this year has been crazy for everyone because of the obvious, Covid-19. I went from working minimum 55 hours a week to losing all 3 of my jobs within 3 days. It was insane. I didn't even know what to do without working like a crazy person because that is all I have known for the last couple of years. My routine was to work like crazy when I was at home and then enjoy and relax when I was able to escape and travel. So I was feeling so blah throughout the pandemic.. just not myself at all. I felt like I was starting to lose my purpose and I needed something that was going to pull me out of a sad state of mind, I really struggled with trying to discover who I was without travelling. Over the past few years, it's been a large part of my identity. So after being banned from hopping on a plane, I had to figure out what makes me, me.

So I am coming back to journalling and I've actually started a new project.... my 2021 New Years resolution if you will... I've started a podcast! And, i'll also be blogging along side of releasing the episodes so that I can no longer procrastinate! This has been on my To Do list for YEARS so it's about time I get to it! Wish me luck as I start this new adventure! The plan is to post every week so if I start slacking, please call me out!

Thank you all for your support! It truly means the world to me! Cant wait to take ya'll down memory lane!
